"Lord!! This freakin place is a destination itself. We loved the place, their hopitality, location, food, and comforts so badly that our group of six want to go back to Rio again and do nothing but stay at this place to totally relax and walk to nearby Joatinga beach which is another gem of a place.
Don't miss the sunrise if you are staying here. Oh my!!! What a breakfast they serve. Tropical fruit heaven!!! "

Excellent experience at La Suite, my wife and I couldn’t be happier. We were greeted by Daniel, who was a very warm host and provided us with two excellent caipirinhas as welcome drinks.
The setup itself is amazing- it’s like staying at your own private mansion with amazing views. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the service phenomenal. Pro tip: ask for your breakfast to be served as a “floating breakfast” in the pool. They put it in a floater and it makes for amazing photos! (Doesn’t cost extra).
Staff is phenomenal and amenities are very nice. Fair warning is that it’s a little off the beaten, but that is perfect if you are truly looking to “get away”

"Really enjoyed my 4 days here. The view is incredible and the property is well kept. While you feel away from the city, it's still an easy Uber ride away. The team makes you feel like you're their only guest. The food is great with a variety of fresh ingredients. Will definitely come back again. "

" Amazing hotel. Eclipses any of the ones we stayed in in Copacabana or Ipanema. Staff very friendly, great rooms and beautiful pool. They let us have breakfast on the heli pad one morning. You get the piece and quiet of Joa with all the main attractions of rio only a 20 minute uber ride away. "
